When do you redeem the GTA 6 GTA+ month?
The stores do not share a clock. PlayStation’s US offer terms say claim the free month by March 31, 2027. The US Xbox description says redeem it within 180 days after placing the pre-order. The game launches Thursday, November 19, 2026 on PS5 & Xbox Series X|S.

PlayStation: claim by March 31, 2027
The US PlayStation support page for the pre-order bonus says pre-order or purchase before November 20, 2026, then claim one month of GTA+ at no extra cost. New, lapsed, and existing subscribers can claim it by March 31, 2027. Existing subscribers can stack the month. The same page says stacking is usually not supported for GTA+ on PlayStation Store.
The claim steps on that page are: buy the digital version from PlayStation Store before November 20, 2026, open the GTA+ product page, and follow the on-screen instructions. The offer is once per account. Eligible purchases are the digital Standard or Ultimate Edition. The terms exclude Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, the Russian Federation, and Taiwan.
The terms also say the instructions name the date the month continues into a paid monthly subscription. Cancel in Subscriptions Management before the next payment date if you do not want that charge. You must meet the age requirements to purchase the game and GTA+. The age-rating guide still says Rating Pending.
Xbox: 180 days after the pre-order
The US Xbox GTA 6 description, read October 13, 2026, says purchase prior to 19 November 2026 23:59:59 to receive the Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+. It then says the month must be redeemed within 180 days after placing the pre-order. That purchase line is not the PlayStation “before November 20, 2026” sentence, and this page does not merge them.
The same description says a pop-up appears on the console when the month can be redeemed. The path it prints is Store, profile icon at the top left, then “Offers & credits.” Redemption is limited to one per Platform Account, and it is not available to child accounts with restrictions on age-restricted content.
That Xbox paragraph does not say the free month becomes a paid subscription. It also does not say the month is a list of items inside GTA 6. The Vintage Vice City Pack on the same sentence stays on the editions guide.
