What are the GTA 6 system requirements?

No spec sheet is published. The US PlayStation store names PS5, a November 19, 2026 release, and the label “PS5 Pro Enhanced.” The US Xbox store says play on Xbox Series X|S. Neither page prints an install size, a CPU chart, or PC requirements. Grand Theft Auto VI launches Thursday, November 19, 2026 on PS5 & Xbox Series X|S.

Lines the PlayStation store actually prints

  • Platform: PS5
  • Release: 11/19/2026
  • PS5 Pro Enhanced
  • In-game purchases optional
  • Offline play enabled
  • 1 player
  • Remote Play supported
  • PS5 Version
  • Vibration function and trigger effect supported (DualSense wireless controller)

That list is the US PlayStation store product page for the Standard Edition, read October 3, 2026. Platform is PS5. Release is 11/19/2026. “PS5 Pro Enhanced” sits on the page as a label. The same page does not attach a resolution, a frame-rate mode, or a separate Pro spec sheet to that label. Which machines are confirmed stays on the platforms guide. Reported frame rate stays on the 30 FPS guide.

The DualSense sentence is exact: “Vibration function and trigger effect supported (DualSense wireless controller).” It describes the standard wireless controller on that store page. It is not the limited-edition DualSense product. That product, its price, and its preorder window stay on the controller guide.

Two other lines stay separate. A chip says “Offline play enabled.” A later license line says online features require an account for PlayStation. This page does not fold those into “always offline” or “always online.” That answer is the offline-play guide. “1 player” and “Remote Play supported” are store chips. They are not a crossplay announcement — that answer is the crossplay guide — and not a PC date. Launch mode stays on is multiplayer in GTA 6. PC status stays on the PC guide.

Requirements this page will not invent

Asked item On the US store pages
Install size Not printed
CPU, GPU, or RAM Not printed
Resolution or frame-rate mode Not printed
PC requirements Not announced

Other guides fill the blank with a storage number, a CPU chart, or a PC parts list. The US PlayStation page and the US Xbox page do not print those figures. This guide does not copy a number from a fan chart onto either store listing.

The PlayStation Standard Edition contents include the line “7-Day Pre-load.” That is a preload window on the edition list. It is not an install size. Digital preload opens November 12, 2026 at local midnight. That answer stays on the preload guide.

The Xbox page’s play line is “Xbox Series X|S,” and the capabilities block includes “Optimized for Xbox Series X|S.” Those lines do not name a CPU, a GPU, RAM, or a file size. The five capabilities themselves stay on the accessibility guide.

Missing figures are not a Rockstar sentence that a spec sheet will never exist. Store pages can gain lines later. Until Rockstar prints the sheet, this page keeps the store labels and stops there.

What these labels do not decide

Store chips do not add a platform. Confirmed machines stay PS5 & Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. Take-Two’s preorder announcement is the date and platform source. It does not publish a spec sheet either. PC is still unannounced. That board is the platforms guide.

Frequently asked questions

What are the GTA 6 system requirements?

Rockstar has not published a Grand Theft Auto VI spec sheet. The US PlayStation store and the US Xbox store, both checked October 3, 2026, name PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Neither page prints an install size, a CPU, a GPU, or a RAM figure.

How big is the GTA 6 download?

Neither store page prints an install size. The PlayStation Standard Edition contents list includes the line “7-Day Pre-load.” That line is a preload window, not a storage number. Preload timing stays on the preload guide.

Does PS5 Pro Enhanced mean a resolution or frame-rate mode?

No. “PS5 Pro Enhanced” is a label on the US PlayStation store product page. The page does not publish a resolution, a frame-rate mode, or a separate Pro spec sheet. Frame-rate reporting stays on the 30 FPS guide.

Does the DualSense line publish controller requirements?

The US PlayStation store prints one sentence: “Vibration function and trigger effect supported (DualSense wireless controller).” That sentence is not a limited-edition controller product page, and it is not a PC peripheral list.

Are there PC system requirements for GTA 6?

No PC version is announced, so there is no PC spec sheet. Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 & Xbox Series X|S. “1 player” and “Remote Play supported” are PlayStation store chips. They are not a PC date and not crossplay.
