Gauntlet Classic Custom

At 0:45 in the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, a red Gauntlet Classic Custom is parked close to an intersection in Crosstown. This is the specifically identified official GTA VI appearance; the trailer places the vehicle in Crosstown but provides no further confirmed gameplay or ownership context.

The car was also visible in September 2022 GTA VI leak footage. It passed Jason in traffic in two separate clips. Those appearances are distinct from the later trailer sighting and do not establish any additional GTA VI variant, modification system, or performance information.

The design chiefly draws from the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. Its extended aerodynamic front is especially close to that car, while the smoother treatment of the nose cone recalls the 1970 Plymouth Superbird. Both real vehicles belonged to NASCAR's brief early-1970s aero-warrior era, when Dodge and Plymouth developed aerodynamic specials from the Charger and Road Runner lines.

Its Online livery selection is based on period Charger Daytona and Superbird paint schemes. “Stamped Bravado” follows a factory 1970 Superbird design, while “White/Black/Red Gauntlet” comes from a 1969 Charger Daytona. Other named racing-themed options include “No.36 Barracho,” based on Richard Petty's Superbird number 43, alongside “No.55 Rally Racer,” “No.81 Bilgeco,” “No.03 Demonoil,” “No.05 Tri-Tone,” and “No.03 Hotshot Tenshun.”

In GTA Online, Bravado's Muscle-class Gauntlet Classic Custom is created by taking a standard Gauntlet Classic to Benny's Original Motor Works and paying $815,000 for the conversion. It keeps the original car's basic two-door muscle-car structure and much of its cabin, but replaces the front with a long nose cone containing two small air openings and round pop-up lights.

The exterior uses the primary paint for the body and the secondary paint for the roof. Interior trim colour can cover much of the dashboard, steering wheel, door cards, and stitching, while dial colour is separately selectable. A wood insert appears on the passenger side of the cabin. The conversion also swaps in plain wheels fitted with tall-sidewall custom tyres.

Compared with the ordinary Gauntlet Classic, the Custom has substantially stronger acceleration and can reach speeds comparable to the Gauntlet Hellfire. It retains the regular Classic's handling and suspension behaviour, remaining composed over curbs and uneven road surfaces at speed. Understeer becomes increasingly pronounced as speed rises, making turns more likely to push the car wide and end in a slide.

It uses a single-cam V8 with four forward gears, mounted at the front and driving the rear wheels. Its engine audio is shared with the standard Gauntlet Classic and the Imperator. Rockstar Games Social Club copy incorrectly described it as available to buy and modify extensively, although it is itself the upgraded Gauntlet Classic rather than a vehicle sold directly. Social Club preview images also showed Gauntlet Classic-derived stock wheels that were absent from the released model. Benny's description additionally refers to the Master Penthouse decorations The Temptation of Aglaia and Yellow Dog with Cone.
