Flashlight
Melee Vom Feuer
The Vom Feuer Flashlight is a melee weapon that was introduced to Grand Theft Auto Online with the Halloween Surprise update and is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. Manufactured by the Austrian brand Vom Feuer, it is a stout, LED-less cylindrical torch modeled loosely on a shortened Kel-Lite flashlight, functioning as an everyday object repurposed as an improvised bludgeon. No details about its price or availability in Grand Theft Auto VI have been revealed.

GTA VI status
As of the latest official GTA VI trailers and promotional material catalogued here, Flashlight is documented primarily from earlier GTA titles or Online history rather than a confirmed close-up Leonida/Vice City showcase. Treat any return as unconfirmed until a trailer timestamp, map screenshot, or Rockstar caption clearly shows this weapon.
The sections below keep the useful franchise background so you can compare design and role if it does reappear — not as a claim that it is already a GTA VI unlock or mission reward.
Online Handling and Reach
In Grand Theft Auto Online, Ammu-Nation sold the Flashlight for $5,750. Although placed in the weapon inventory, it serves both as a light source and as a hand-held striking tool. Its attacks work in the same general manner as the Hammer and Crowbar, while its illumination spreads more broadly than the flashlight fitted to firearms.
Game files assign it a 10-metre range, but that figure applies to its light rather than its melee swing. Its practical striking distance is about 1.6 metres, comparable to other one-handed melee weapons. The listed light range falls just short of the Stun Gun’s 11 metres. Holding it as a weapon can frighten pedestrians; using it on a police officer may bring a wanted level, and gang members may react aggressively.
Modes and Earlier Appearances
The Flashlight was issued to Hunted players in the Slasher mode so they could see through dark locations. It remained capable of killing the Slasher in melee combat. When selected while riding a motorcycle, its weapon-wheel HUD symbol appears at a reduced size.
Grand Theft Auto V featured flashlights in the hands of security guards and LSPD or LSSD officers during nighttime and dark-area patrols, but those versions were unavailable to players. Karen Daniels also used a flashlight while interrogating Ferdinand Kerimov during Three’s Company. A similar item appears in Rockstar’s Manhunt 2.
