Alpha

The Alpha has been spotted in Vice City. Its documented GTA VI appearance comes from leaked September 2022 development footage, rather than from a trailer, official screenshot, or promotional feature. No trailer timecodes, dealership information, performance data, or GTA VI-specific customization details are documented.

The vehicle is identified as an Albany product in the Sports class and uses a grand-tourer coupe body style. The available GTA VI material does not establish whether its design, interior, or mechanical specification differs from the earlier version.

The modern Alpha chiefly draws from the 2013 Cadillac Elmiraj concept, translated into a more production-oriented shape. Its hood and front-end treatment take cues from the 2013–2019 Cadillac ATS, while the bumper resembles that of the 2013–2017 Cadillac XTS. The roof and rear treatment follow the 2014–2019 Cadillac CTS.

Other influences are more selective. Its side view, lower rear valance, and exhaust arrangement resemble the 2013 BMW Gran Lusso Coupe Concept. The taillamps reference the 2008–2012 Maserati Quattroporte V, while the trunk and rear-bumper form have similarities to the 2013 Rolls-Royce Wraith. The name may reference General Motors’ Alpha platform, which underpinned the Cadillac ATS.

The Alpha previously appeared in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas as a two-door coupe. Its later incarnation retained that basic layout but adopted a larger, more luxury-focused form. In Grand Theft Auto V, it arrived through The Business Update and could be stored by each protagonist in any garage.

The newer model has a curved bumper with three lower openings, a broad divided grille, vertically arranged round lamp elements, and LED-style strips below them. Two sharper hood creases run rearward from the grille, accompanied by three subtler contour lines.

In Grand Theft Auto Online, Legendary Motorsport listed the Alpha at $150,000. It was subsequently removed from the site in the enhanced editions as part of the San Andreas Mercenaries update. It could also appear as a Standard-Range SecuroServ Vehicle Cargo target in V1S1ONRY, L0NG80Y, and R31GN forms; V1S10NRY belonged to the four-car Molten Metal collection. Brucie Kibbutz could request it for Exotic Exports.

Single-player street examples appeared around Los Santos, particularly Rockford Hills, and sometimes at Vespucci Beach. Modified versions could occur near Los Santos Customs and in designated Business Update vehicle sets. An Alpha outside the Epsilon Building used metallic light blue paint on both color channels and an otherwise unavailable blue wheel color, rather than the usual Epsilon baby-blue scheme.

The GTA V-era Alpha used the SuperGT cabin shared with the Rapid GT and F620. Primary paint covered much of the body and interior stitching; the lower rear bumper and round front-badge surround used the secondary color. Street examples fixed that secondary color to black. Its exclusive wheels were split five-spoke rims with broadened outer ends.

Its engine cover indicated a single-cam V8, and its in-game website described a 4.3-litre, 500 hp V8. Rear-wheel drive, substantial weight, and wheelspin made standing launches weaker than its acceleration at speed. Braking was strong, while high-speed corners could induce manageable oversteer. It was competitive enough for general driving but generally surpassed by other Sports-class cars in races; its low-revving note resembled the Jackal and Police Cruiser.

A misplaced engine attachment point caused smoke to emerge from the rear because the game treated the trunk area as the engine location. The model also had a black mark beside the right exhaust, especially visible with a non-black secondary finish. Mod shops and police scanner calls incorrectly identified it as a Benefactor vehicle.
