Coquette

The Coquette is listed as due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. No trailer time, screenshot, promotional placement, regional sighting, GTA VI variant, or GTA VI-specific specification is provided. Details from Grand Theft Auto IV, Grand Theft Auto V, and Grand Theft Auto Online therefore should not be treated as confirmed characteristics of the GTA VI vehicle.

Grand Theft Auto V and Online recast the Coquette with a shape chiefly based on the Chevrolet Corvette C7. Its hood vent, side openings, side silhouette, and portions of the rear-light treatment also draw from the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro. The rear lamps combine cues associated with the 2014 facelift Camaro and the Jaguar F-Type, while the C-pillars resemble those of the Nissan GT-R.

This generation retained the earlier car’s general profile, front-intake arrangement, and centrally positioned rear Coquette emblem, but replaced much of its rounded surfacing with sharper lines. Identifying features include the pronounced headlamps, a middle hood scoop, blade-like side vents, and narrow rear-light strips. The GTA V and Online Coquette is classed as a Sports vehicle and made by Invetero.

In GTA V and Online, the Coquette was sold as either a fixed-roof car or a roadster. Garage Mechanic requests treated those roof configurations as separate models, although Los Santos Customs could fit or remove the roof. Following patch 1.13, the topless version became available alongside the hardtop, in line with other vehicles that have roadster counterparts, including the Banshee.

Los Santos Customs offered an Extreme Aero Front Bumper. It substituted part of the front badge area with extra rally-type lamps, but those lamps did not work. The main paint colour covered the bodywork and seat stitching; the secondary colour covered part of the hood and the roof. Its wheels matched the S Racer sport-wheel design and used low-profile tyres. Neither the GTA IV nor GTA V version provided an opening rear trunk or hatch, though their doors and hoods operated normally.

The GTA IV Coquette used a two-tone leather cabin with Coquette logos stitched into the head restraints, a carpeted rear parcel shelf, and built-in speakers. GTA V retained essentially the same named interior treatment and used Feroci gauges. Early original GTA V releases also kept the embroidered headrests, but later editions removed that detail.

Two non-customizable cabin extras could appear in GTA V: a fan filter in the left-centre dashboard vent, or a phone holder at the right-centre vent accompanied by a small air-freshener unit at the lower-left vent. Both GTA IV and GTA V versions used a front-mounted, twin-cam inline-four driving the rear wheels. The IV car had a five-speed transmission, while the V and Online version used six speeds. In IV, its large drilled disc brakes were shared with the Infernus, Comet, and Turismo.

The Coquette appeared in Grand Theft Auto IV before receiving its revised GTA V and Online form. In IV, it could be encountered in multiplayer traffic and across parts of Liberty City and Alderney, with frequent appearances in areas including Algonquin, Broker, and Alderney City. It was involved in Undress to Kill, Payback, and Stevie's Car Thefts. The Payback example was black with gold trim, while a rare white-and-red paint scheme used red as its secondary colour. After all thirty Stevie vehicles were collected, Stevie could pay as much as $4,100 for a Coquette.

In GTA V, it could appear around Vinewood, Vinewood Hills, Del Perro Beach, Pacific Bluffs, and the Vinewood Racetrack. It was also available as an escape choice in Fresh Meat and appeared outside the Kortz Center during The Wrap Up. A story-mode fault could stop Coquettes spawning; replaying Mr. Richards, taking its parked black Coquette, and then failing the mission restored normal spawning. Online initially sold it through Legendary Motorsport for $138,000, but San Andreas Mercenaries removed it from that website in the enhanced edition. It also featured in Chasers, Simeon’s Export Requests, and Exotic Exports.
