Jugular

The Jugular appears in Grand Theft Auto VI’s first trailer at 0:32. It is parked across the street on a Vice Beach roadway styled after Ocean Drive, with the car pointed into approaching traffic. This trailer shot is the specific GTA VI appearance shown; no GTA VI performance, interior, trim, or purchase information is established by it.

Its principal real-world basis is the Jaguar XE SV Project 8. The performance-saloon proportions and aggressive add-on bodywork follow that model most closely. The headlights draw from the G15-generation BMW 8 Series, while the front bumper has similarities to the Mercedes-AMG GT R produced from 2017 to 2021.

The GTA Online version combines those influences around a large circular grille, with an Ocelot badge set prominently at its centre. Its nameplate had appeared earlier in the series on a two-door coupe; the later GTA Online car changed it into a four-door saloon.

In GTA Online, the Ocelot Jugular is placed in the Sports class. Its performance-oriented exterior includes a bolt-on wide-body conversion, large vents in the front fenders, a carbon-fibre rear wing, and a roof treatment. The wheels resemble the Rally Master tuner rims available at Los Santos Customs, though the Jugular’s versions are slightly larger and use low-profile tyres.

Its dedicated cabin combines components from other interiors. The front seats come from the Nero interior, also used by the Nero and XA-21, while the rear seating derives from the Schafter interior, shared with the Schafter and Tailgater. The instrument cluster uses Raiden dials, and the Ocelot emblem appears on the steering-wheel horn pad.

Primary paint covers the body, outer rim sections, and interior stitching. A secondary colour applies to the roof panel and the horizontal divider at the front. Interior trim colour affects the dashboard, horn pad, portions of the door panels, and the seats.

The Jugular uses an all-wheel-drive layout with a stated 30 percent of power at the front and 70 percent at the rear, paired with an eight-speed gearbox. Its V8 is inferred from the engine cover, and its engine note resembles that of the XA-21. At high revs, lifting off the throttle can produce exhaust crackles.

Its traction and all-wheel drive help it get moving quickly and remain effective on uneven routes or moderately steep inclines. Handling is described as average, with understeer even at medium speeds, so braking is important before corners. Its braking and maximum speed compare reasonably with sports saloons including the Jackal and Kuruma.

Legendary Motorsport listed the Jugular for $1,225,000. The price fell to $918,750 after a player completed The Diamond Casino Heist as leader and selected a Jugular for the escape. During that heist, Taliana Martinez can assign two pre-modified Jugular variants among four possible vehicle sets for players to steal as getaway cars.

It can also be requested by Brucie Kibbutz as one of the 100 possible Exotic Exports deliveries, or appear as a customer vehicle in Auto Shop Service. It later served as both a Lucky Wheel podium vehicle and an LS Car Meet Prize Ride; the Prize Ride example had Fukaru livery and no spoiler, a combination unavailable through other means.

Although it starts with eight gears, a transmission upgrade adds a ninth. Once it reaches that top ratio, automatic downshifting can fail, leaving the car slow to move again unless reverse is selected manually. The same issue affects the Toros, Brutus, Paragon R, and Novak. The Jugular also cannot enter car washes. Its Raiden-derived gauges retain a kilowatt display despite the car not being electric, so that dial does not read as a proper tachometer.
