Tulip M-100

A customized hi-riser Tulip M-100 appeared in Grand Theft Auto VI’s first trailer. This is separate from the black standard-looking car shown in Ambrosia; the supplied material gives no trailer timestamp or further GTA VI-specific mechanical details.

Ambrosia is the only named GTA VI region connected with the model. Beyond the trailer appearance and the pre-release sighting already documented, no GTA VI purchase method, class listing, price, available upgrades, or performance information is established here.

The Tulip M-100 takes most of its form from the 1980 Chevrolet Malibu Coupe. Its name also refers to that Malibu’s M-100 designation. The resemblance extends to the basic midsize two-door coupe profile and to several period-specific exterior treatments.

Its lamps combine references rather than copying one donor unchanged: the recessed low beams and projecting high beams resemble the 1978–79 Malibu arrangement. The grille draws from both 1975 and 1979 Chevrolet Impalas, while the tail-lamp shape remains Malibu-like but uses the layout and surface treatment associated with 1981–82 Mercury Cougars.

In GTA Online, Declasse’s M-100 is classed as a Muscle vehicle and has a midsize body. Its nose carries a broad bumper with a dark plastic strip, a number-plate recess, and a rectangular grille that projects at the middle. DECLASSE lettering sits on the driver’s side of that grille. The lighting consists of inner rectangular high beams, square main lamps, and outward-facing amber indicators.

The hood is largely flat, apart from a raised center section aligned with the grille. Flared arches, lower-body projections, plastic side moldings, marker lamps, conventional door handles, and body-coloured mirrors define the sides. Thin dividers split the rear quarter windows, and the trunk slopes down toward the rear.

At the back, the brand marking is placed on the passenger side of the trunk. A recessed plate area sits between rectangular lamps divided into brake, reverse, main-light, and edge indicator sections. The rear bumper repeats the dark strip used at the front. Underneath are angled outlets on both sides, the fuel tank, and a raised rear axle with visible arms and springs. The cabin instruments and interior are reused from the Faction.

The GTA Online version uses a front-mounted V8 driving the rear wheels through a three-speed transmission. A rectangular air filter is mounted above the engine. Its audio is close to that of the Tulip, blending Dominator and Imperator sounds, with the Dominator element more apparent at higher revs.

Southern San Andreas Super Autos listed the M-100 for $1,658,000. Its standard wheels are chrome or silver versions of the Retro Steelie Urban wheel design, fitted with low-profile tyres. Body paint also covers the engine’s cam covers, while the secondary colour governs the bumpers, grille, lamp surrounds, sill pieces, parts of the side molding, and cabin trim; a separate interior trim colour is available.

The M-100 Stripes options follow the graphics used on a 1980 Malibu Coupe. Declasse Racing Stripes take inspiration from Chevrolet Yenko striping, especially the 1970 Yenko Deuce Nova treatment also reflected by the Vamos’s White Side Stripes livery. Two Tone Fade echoes decals fitted to several Malibu Classic models.

Hotring Throwback closely matches a Hotring Racer variant from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Promotional imagery for the M-100 and one modified example are said to resemble an unnamed reference vehicle, while suitable modifications can make the car resemble another unnamed vehicle. Installing either the Ram Air Dam or Supercharger Cutout causes the hood to be disabled.
